analysis of the original.
Selection
and separation of colors (shades and values of the work).
Elaboration
of tracings, from the shades and values of the work using
traditional elements such as paintbrushes, crayons, painting
pencils and others.
Impression or printing that is made over a thin cardboard
for each one of the edition copies and for each color, using
a kind of wing having a tensioned piece of silk with the helping
of a racket, a manual displacement of the ink is ejected from
one side to another. To obtain effects in the impression is
better to work on open screen (over the silk) using primitive
elements to achieve the right texture and effects of each
part of the original.
Each color is printed one by one, having an interval from
five to ten minutes of drying.
When
the impression of each color ends up, every copy is cleaned
or curated.
Finally,
the edition is coined on the left side and enumerated according
to the corresponding issue´s number of each copy. For
example:from (1/100) to (100/100) for a-100-copies edition.
