Cienfuegos, Cuba. March 29, 1965. Composer and singer. He’s one of the most relevant figures in the Nueva Trova movement of the last years, what is known as Novísima Trova.

Polito graduated from the Arts University and in 1984 he became a member of the Nueva Trova movement, where he began his career as a composer.

He has given concerts in Trinidad Tobago, Argentina, Venezuela, Spain, France and Holland, with musicians like Pablo Milanés, Silvio Rodríguez and Joaquín Sabina.
