Graciela Pogolotti. 1932
Remarkable intellectual, professor and literary critic. She was
born in París, January 24, 1932 and being seven she came
to Cuba with Marcelo
Pogolotti, her father, one of the legendary painters from the
first half of the XX century in Cuba.
Graduated of Philosophy and Letters in Havana University, French
Literature in La Sorbonne.
Her works are present at diverse publications such as Nueva Revista
Cubana, Casa de las Américas and Granma newspaper, among
others. She has worked also as professor at the Havana University`s
Arts and Letters School, leading outstanding works of social research.
She has been in charge also of important responsibilities at the
Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba, UNEAC.
Author of essays full of sharpness and airs of reading, having allurig
and refreshing prefaces, Graciela Pogolotti makes of the intellectual
passion a horizon where diverse disciplines are entwined: literature,
art, artistic education and architecture among others.
