Juan Carlos Cremata Malberti (1961- )

Born on November 18, 1961. Actor, writer and director. He was graduated in 1986 as Theatrical Arts from the Superior Institute of Art. He has directed and written TV shows for children in Cuba. He is member of UNEAC. He studied at Internacional School of Cinema in 1990. He has been invited to various international festivals, such as: Oberhausen, Mannhein, Berlín, Londres, Leipzig, Hamburgo, Viña del Mar, Sao Paulo, among others. He has lectured in Rome, Santiago de Chile, Panama and USA universities. He taught editing and mounting at the Advertising and Design Pan-American School and at the Experimenting Center in Video and Cinema in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In 1996 he obtained a John Simon Guggenheim scholarship in New York. He was invited to participate at the Script Workshop in the Sundance Institute of Mexico in 1998. His cinematographic work has received prizes in national and international festivals and contests.
