Llegó Teté album, is a fully-Cuban proposal offered by Bis Music Label`s Tributo Collection, aimed at honoring Teresa García Caturla “Teté”, and the Cuban music itself. Bunch of successes is this peerless disc acknowledged with the Prize of Popular Traditional Music and the Great Prize Cubadisco 2004.

Excellent musicians gathered for the ocassion and leaded by the well-known singer -daughter of Alejandro García Caturla, evergreen in the history of Cuban music-, represent the most genuine presence of our Popular Traditional Music, running from son to trova, from song to feeling, from a cradle song to cha cha chá, sporting the creative talent of such adroit composers as Jaime Prats, Ernesto Grenet, Enrique Jorrín, Juan Formell, Félix Reina and Alejandro García Caturla, among others.

Evincing a versatile and criolla-inflected performance, Teté managed to success even in those famous cuts, deeply close to the national audience through excellent versions by peerless singers of Cuban music. Such tunes as Siguaraya -so aired by greats for the likes of Celia Cruz and Benny Moré- and Drume Negrita -a real creation of Ignacio Villa, Bola de Nieve- highlights again with a new and original color.

In this way, the presence of luminaries like Ibrahim Ferrer, Omara Portuondo, Pío Leyva and Rubalcaba, descargando ''a lo cubano'', soaking camaraderie, not only with ''The Lady of Song'' but also with Lázaro Dagoberto González (violin), Germán Velazco (soprano saxo), Alexander Abreu (trumpet), Jesús “Aguaje” Ramos (trombone), Tony Rodríguez (piano), René Herrera (flute), Rolando Valdés (güiro), Fabián García (contrabass) and Amado Valdés (pailas), transform this recording project into a the joyful conspiration of a talented and professional bunch of national musicians impassioned for Cuban music.
